Alice Dietitian – HCPC Registered Dietitian
Specialising in digestive health, IBS symptoms, metabolic health & complex cases where previous advice has not worked.
Many of my patients come to me after months — and often years — of trying to improve their symptoms without success. They may have cut foods out, followed conflicting nutrition advice, or been told their symptoms are “just IBS” while still struggling with bloating, reflux, unpredictable bowel habits, fatigue, food anxiety, or abnormal blood test results.
I specialise in helping people who feel stuck, confused, or overwhelmed by conflicting advice finally understand what may be driving their symptoms and what to do next.
My approach is clinical, structured, and personalised. Rather than providing generic meal plans or unnecessary restriction, I focus on identifying the key factors contributing to symptoms and creating a practical plan that fits real life.
I am a HCPC-registered dietitian with more than 10 years’ experience across NHS and private practice. I support adults looking for clear, evidence-based guidance for digestive symptoms, cholesterol management, blood sugar control, healthy ageing, and long-term health.

My recent meeting with Marialice Albertini was very informative and most helpful to me. Alice explained what was a very difficult problem extremely well and clearly to me, which I could understand fully. Alice gave me advice about diet and what is best for me to include and what I should cut down on eating. The advice I was given has been really helped and improved my overall health.
I sought a consultation with Alice because I felt confused by conflicting advice. I'm now much clearer. Alice completely understood my unique circumstances and provided bespoke, realistic advice based on my lifestyle. Her delivery of the information was also very supportive and non-didactic; she made suggestions, and adjusted those suggestions based on my responses. All in all I am very pleased with the advice I received and extremely grateful for the information.
I cannot express how much Alice has helped me since I started meeting with her in June 2025 after I was diagnosed with Clostridum difficile (C. diff). The infection occurred out of the blue and caused me to lose 10kg in the space of around 6 weeks. The impact on my mental health has been significant too. I was no longer able to eat a normal balanced diet - all I was told by my GP was to eat a bland diet but they gave me no clear advice or specific instructions on what this meant and how to heal my gut so I could start eating normally again. I really needed help. This is where Alice came in. Her objective from the start has been to help me get back to eating my usual healthy diet as safely and as soon as possible. Her advice and instructions have been precise, and she has been very responsive when I’ve had questions, even outside of appointments, showing the real understanding she has of my situation and how I feel. She has even advised me on what I need to share with doctors and ask them during appointments, and has written to them to recommend tests to try to get to the bottom of recurring issues. I’m still on my recovery journey, but I would not have got so far without Alice’s dedication and support. C. diff and the lack of consistent support from my usual health services filled me with anxiety; Alice made me feel like I was not alone, and gave me hope. If you are looking for a professional who brings genuine care to her work, I cannot recommend Alice enough.

Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. Recovering from C. difficile can feel incredibly overwhelming, so I’m really pleased our work together has helped you feel more supported and confident with food again. You’ve worked very hard throughout your recovery, and it has been a privilege to support you during this process. Thank you again for your trust — I’m so pleased with the progress you’ve made so far and look forward to continuing to support you. Warm wishes, Alice
Alice was very helpful, easy to chat to, and provided clear and practical advice to help my IBS which I can fit into my current busy lifestyle. I look forward to further assistance from her.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I’m really glad you found the advice helpful and easy to fit into your day-to-day life. IBS can feel overwhelming at times, especially with a busy schedule, so it’s great to hear the recommendations felt practical and manageable for you. I’m looking forward to continuing to support you moving forward.
