Dr Manas Tiwari

Dr Manas Tiwari is a General Practitioner with specialist interests in musculoskeletal medicine, sports and trauma care, and the non-surgical management of osteoarthritis. He is a GP Partner at Bishopton Medical Practice, practises at Glasgow Private Clinic, and serves as Chief Medical Officer at Knockhill Racing Circuit, where he is involved in the assessment and management of racetrack-related injuries. He also holds the position of Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in General Practice.

Dr Tiwari has developed particular expertise in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis using Arthrosamid, a non-biodegradable hydrogel injection designed to provide long-term symptom relief. Having performed more than 375 Arthrosamid procedures, he is among the most experienced clinicians in the UK using this treatment. 

In addition to osteoarthritis management, Dr Tiwari has extensive experience in musculoskeletal assessment, joint injections and the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of joint and soft tissue conditions. His practice focuses on evidence-based, non-surgical interventions that support pain relief, improve function and help patients maintain an active lifestyle. Alongside his clinical work, he remains actively involved in medical education and the training of healthcare professionals through his academic appointment.
