Dr Maher Shakarchi

Dr. Shakarchi is a General Practitioner with a diverse background in the field of medicine. He obtained his medical degree from St. George's Hospital Medical School, a part of the University of London. He began his training in anaesthetics and intensive care, after which he pursued postgraduate training in general practice (GP) in London. He became a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and achieved diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology, child health, and anaesthesia.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Shakarchi served as an NHS GP principal for 35 years. Initially, he practised in a large practice in Buckinghamshire and later at Belgrave Medical Centre near Sloane Square in Belgravia. During this time, he also successfully managed his own private practice.

Dr. Shakarchi's broad experience covers a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. He holds a particular interest in men's health, child health, skin problems, and lifestyle and preventative medicine. Recognising the unique health challenges faced by busy executives and their families, he has focused on personalised, coordinated care, establishing trust with his patients, and practising holistic medicine with an emphasis on preventative healthcare.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Shakarchi has extensive experience in home visiting. He spent over 25 years working for London Central and West Unscheduled Care, providing out-of-hours home visits, including handling various medical emergencies. As a practitioner with the London General Practice, he specialises in home, hotel, and workplace visits. Dr. Shakarchi places his patients' needs at the forefront of his practice, prioritising safe, prompt, and effective care.
