Dr. Madhvi Patel

Dr Madhvi Patel is an experienced consultant radiologist based at Hinchley Medical and  St. George’s University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where she also serves as the Joint Clinical Governance Lead for quality and safety in the radiology department.

Dr Patel is involved with education including postgraduate training, education, research, and audit and quality improvement. She obtained her medical degree from Imperial College London in 2012 with a distinction in Medical Sciences, Clinical Science and Clinical Practice. Following her initial training she then went on to complete radiology training at the Norfolk and Norwich and St. George’s University Hospitals. In 2018 she was awarded a visiting musculoskeletal radiology scholarship, by the European School of Radiology, to Florence, Italy, further adding to her training and skillset.

Dr Patel holds memberships including the Royal College of Radiologists and British Society of Skeletal Radiologists. Her expertise lies in cross sectional imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Within her role she routinely performs diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, allowing her to assess and report on the nature of the underlying problem with a great level of expertise. She performs ultrasound guided procedures including, but not limited to, joint, tendon and soft tissue injections and cyst aspirations.
