Ms Maddie Tait

Ms Maddie Tait is a highly qualified Podiatrist based in London and Surrey. She is an expert in podiatric biomechanics and musculoskeletal injuries, with a keen interest in sports medicine. When assessing clients, she carries out functional and video gait analysis to identify lower-limb movement patterns and help make an accurate diagnosis of injury. She combines this with biomechanical assessments for the provision of orthoses, to reduce damaging forces within injured tissue.

Ms Tait has expertise in both athletic and general footwear, and a special interest in managing adult-acquired flat foot with Richie Braces (ankle foot orthoses). This allows her to provide patients with the best possible care, tailored specifically to their individual needs. She holds a Master's degree in Podiatry from the University of Brighton.

Ms Tait has a wealth of experience in helping sporting athletes to recover from running and overuse injuries. She is highly skilled in clinical management for all hypermobility, rheumatological and neurological related disorders in adults and paediatrics. This often ranges from biomechanical problems to inflammatory diseases that affect the musculo-skeletal system, which can be improved with orthotic therapy.

She enjoys the multi-disciplinary approach and regularly refers patients to develop their strength and stability through a rehabilitation programme. She is always keen to help her patients regain their full health and loves seeing them make progress towards this goal.
