Dr. Lucy Doogan

Dr Lucy Doogan is a General Practitioner practising at YourGP in Edinburgh. Her clinical interests include women’s health, sexual health, mental health and diabetes, and she also provides joint injections and minor surgery within the practice.

Originally from Tayside, Dr Doogan completed the first part of her medical degree at the University of St Andrews, graduating with first class honours, before undertaking her clinical training at the University of Dundee. She remained in Tayside for foundation and extended GP training, gaining further hospital experience in general medicine, geriatric medicine, stroke medicine and palliative care.

Before joining YourGP, Dr Doogan worked as a locum GP across a number of practices and also held longer-term positions in two busy GP practices. This experience has given her a broad background in primary care and in managing patients with a range of acute and ongoing health concerns.
