Dr. Louay ElTagy

Dr. Louay ElTagy is a Consultant Psychiatrist based in the West Midlands with over 13 years of experience in adult mental health. He graduated from Cairo University in 2010 and holds a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry, with an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. He is an Approved Clinician certified under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act and has completed training in adult ADHD assessment and management through UKAAN.

Dr. ElTagy has held academic and leadership roles, including Royal College Tutor in Worcestershire and Honorary Communication Skills Tutor for the Birmingham MRCPsych course. He is a member of the Inclusion Advisory Group of the Worcestershire Football Association and serves on the Public Engagement Editorial Board of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions in adults, with an emphasis on safe, accountable care and fostering therapeutic relationships with patients and carers.
