Lesley Helliwell

Lesley Helliwell is a dedicated Podiatrist with a background in nursing. She is registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and is a member of The College of Podiatry. 

After a fulfilling nursing career, Lesley decided to further enhance her skills and knowledge by retraining as a podiatrist. She now manages FootSmart Podiatry, specialising in improving foot health. Her goal is to treat people's feet by enhancing their appearance and confidence, reducing pain, and improving overall foot function.

Lesley offers high-quality foot care services that can be provided in the comfort of the patient's own home or workplace. Her approach is patient-centred, focusing on meeting both the medical requirements and personal expectations of her patients. She ensures that all treatments are empathetic, safe, and conducted with the utmost confidentiality.

Her services cover a wide range of foot-related issues, including nail cutting, addressing problem nails (such as ingrown or thickened nails), treating heel pain, corn removal, callus management, vascular and diabetic foot assessments, verruca treatment, skincare, and providing footwear and foot care advice. Additionally, Lesley offers toe nail reconstruction for fungal or damaged nails. She also offers luxurious medical pedicures as part of her treatment options.
