Had cataract surgery, from the receptionist on entering the clinic to when I was discharged all members of the team showed professionalism, where friendly respectful approachable. My brother who accompanied me commented on how the receptionist treated everyone with a smile and offer of tea or coffee. I found all clinical team members approachable did all they could to make me feel comfortable and I was in safe hands friendly smiling. Everything was explained clearly and out come discussed. I could not have had a better experience.
It was my second visit and it was a good as the first . All the staff & operation team were super and definately put me at ease. The operation itself was a very smooth process & the surgeon kept me updated throughout the op. The music in the theatre was very pleasant too.
Friendly environment. Efficient and knowledgeable staff at all levels. Comfortable waiting area. Clean. Drinks machine and biscuits. Limited parking on my pre op day but okay on operation day. Appointment 1.30pm but waited till 2.20pm but not unhappy about the wait.
From the moment I walked in to the Newmedica clinic i felt at ease. When I met Dr Gadhvi he explained what he was doing and I felt very calm. Everyone i met today were very friendly .

The staff were friendly and put me at ease.There was nothing to be worried about . The operation was over in a few minutes.
All the staff were very nice and the atmosphere was very calming. The surgeon explained everything in advance and the procedure was much quicker than I expected. After about 15 minutes or so I was sitting back in waiting room again. My cousin has recently been referred to Wrexham for bilateral cataract surgery and I told her that I would recommend referral on to Newmedica if she is given the choice. I was able to reassure her about the procedure and feel very comfortable about having surgery on my left eye in a few weeks time.
