About Dr. Kunal Gadhvi
Mr Kunal Gadhvi is a Liverpool based Consultant Ophthalmologist with an expertise in multifocal and premium lens cataract surgery, Refractive lens exchange (RLE), laser eye surgery (LASIK and PRK) and corneal transplantation. He provides his services through St Paul's Laser Vision in Liverpool, where he is available for consultations on Monday and Tuesdays.
He is a fully accredited laser and refractive surgeon and holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Laser Refractive and Cataract Surgery and the CertLRS. His clinical practice focuses on delivering safe, patient-centred care through the integration of advanced surgical techniques and evidence-based innovations.
A graduate of Imperial College London with distinction, Mr Gadhvi has over a decade of surgical experience, including five years at Moorfields Eye Hospital, Europe’s largest specialist eye centre where he completed his refractive training.
In addition to his clinical work, Mr Gadhvi serves as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool. His research interests centre on corneal innovation, and he has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications. Mr Gadhvi is an active lecturer at international conferences and a member of a national clinical working group focused on improving standards of corneal care across the UK.
