Ms Julie Petersen

Julie Peterson is based at At Home Dental. She received her Dental Therapist qualification from the University of Portsmouth in 2010, building upon an extensive career in dentistry. She has a wealth of experience, having previously provided dental health education to schools and serving as a dental NVQ assessor. Julie's background also includes corporate experience; she worked as a dental and pharmaceutical business development manager for the renowned blue-chip company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

In 2012, Julie was a national finalist for Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist of the Year, and she has collaborated with a team of dental experts to create educational resources for schools. Currently, Julie splits her time between working at a specialist referral practice, where she handles complex treatment plans, and working with At Home Dental across Hampshire.

With a genuine empathy for older patients, Julie excels at bringing out their best and engaging her patients in meaningful conversation. She is skilled at considering her patients' needs when creating treatment plans and always acts in their best interest, putting her patients at ease at every step of their dental journey.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys astrology, spinning, and serving as chair of her local tennis club.
