Mr Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith is a skilled Physiotherapist and the Clinic Manager at Pure Sports Medicine St Paul's. His approach integrates manual and hands-on treatments, exercise-based rehabilitation, and evidence-based education. Rather than merely addressing symptoms, Joshua's primary focus is on understanding and resolving the underlying causes.

Joshua completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2013 and holds a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT)

Joshua finds the most rewarding aspect of his work in making a difference in people's lives. His goal is to help each client in achieving their specific objectives, whether related to high-performance sports, the enjoyment of exercise, or the ability to move freely and without pain in day-to-day activities.

Joshua has special interests in shoulder, chronic pain, ankle issues, neck problems, lower back conditions, pre and postoperative rehabilitation, nerve pain, and tendon pathology. Joshua also has sporting interests in athletics, rugby, cycling, tennis, weight training, and skiing.
