Dr. John Fawole

Dr John B. Fawole is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Clinical Lead at RDA Autism & ADHD Practice. He has over 20 years of experience across both private and public healthcare settings. Since 2018, he has worked within the NHS, focusing on the assessment and management of mental health conditions in children and young people up to the age of 18.

Dr Fawole’s clinical practice involves the assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of mental health conditions. His areas of expertise include neurodevelopmental conditions such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder, as well as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating difficulties, psychosis and trauma-related conditions. He has experience working across a range of clinical environments, including youth offending institutions, psychiatric intensive care units, general adolescent units and community services. His clinical work has also included involvement with drug and alcohol services and Youth Offending Teams (YOT).

He works as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and contributing to the development of treatment and management plans for complex cases. His clinical approach includes early intervention and collaboration with young people and their families as part of the care process.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Fawole is involved in the education and supervision of junior doctors and medical students. He also participates in research and quality improvement initiatives within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Dr Fawole is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) and is an associate member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
