Dr. Johanne Nelson

Dr Johanne Nelson is an experienced General Practitioner who graduated from the University of Leeds and has been practising medicine for over twelve years. Throughout her career, she has gained broad clinical experience across hospital medicine, emergency care, and general practice in both the United Kingdom and Australia, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of healthcare across a variety of settings.

After working overseas, Dr Nelson returned to the UK to complete her specialist training in General Practice. She now provides comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare to individuals and families of all ages, focusing on delivering personalised care that supports both immediate health concerns and long-term wellbeing.

Dr Nelson has particular clinical interests in women’s health, sexual health, preventative medicine, public health, and addiction medicine. She is especially committed to promoting proactive healthcare and empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health through clear communication and evidence-based guidance.

As part of her ongoing professional development, Dr Nelson is currently undertaking certification with the British Menopause Society, further enhancing her expertise in menopause care and women’s health. She is passionate about delivering holistic, evidence-based care that considers the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors influencing health and wellbeing.
