I was relieved to find a psychiatrist who doesn’t position himself above the patient but rather understands the collective suffering we all endure to various degrees. Therefore, I didn’t feel odd or embarrassed when sharing my life story and general state of being. It is the first time I felt heard and witnessed without judgement. It is also the first time the prescribed medication is helpful and supportive. I feel much more balanced. I highly recommend Dr. Joe Ramsay.

Joe helped me refine and streamline my treatment with care and professionalism. He listened carefully to my thoughts and was able to prescribe a blend of medical and lifestyle-based approaches that I am already seeing have an effect. I enjoyed my consultation with Joe, who conducted our hour together with a blend of quality clinical acumen, humour and kindness. Despite the desire to ideally not find myself in a psychiatrist's office too routinely, Joe made the experience a really positive one and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to others.

My experience with Dr Ramsay couldn’t have been better. As somebody who has had mental illness for 20+ years, never attended a Doctor and was exceptionally apprehensive about even the though of attending a psychiatrist it was so reassuring to have somebody who listened empathetically and gently and sequentially worked through diagnoses and treatment options. Treatment included not just medication but holistic advice with regard to lifestyle factors, diet and exercise, which is very refreshing. His follow up communication to me and my GP was incredibly succinct and accurate. You will not find a better psychiatrist thsn Dr Ramsay.

My time with Joe was brief, but he helped me understand my overaching social dysfunction. Childhood trauma left me with an overactive aggression response that has negatively affected every social interaction I've had since the trauma. Joe helped me realise this, and referred me to get the help I needed. Joe's help has proven to be life changing. I highley recommend Dr Ramsay.
