About Ms Jennifer Warwick
Ms Jennifer Warwick is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions and complex communication needs. She qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2003 and has since worked across NHS, charity and independent sectors, providing assessment and intervention within health, education and community settings.
Ms Warwick specialises in supporting children with complex communication profiles, including autistic children and young people of all ages. She works as part of a multidisciplinary team at the Child and Family Practice and is co-founder of the London Child Development Clinic, where she contributes to holistic, multidisciplinary assessment and intervention pathways. She is ADOS-2 trained and participates in diagnostic assessments as part of multidisciplinary teams.
Her clinical work includes individualised assessments, direct speech and language therapy, and the development of structured therapy programmes tailored to the needs of children and adolescents. She works collaboratively with parents, carers and educators to support communication, interaction and learning across home and school environments.
Ms Warwick is the author of a clinical assessment tool, the Early Sociocognitive Battery, and co-author of a resource manual for parents and educators of children with Autism Spectrum Condition. She is an experienced trainer, delivering professional training to schools and families. She holds an MSc in Human Communication from City University of London, completed in 2013, and volunteers as a Research Champion and Advisor for autism and social communication disorders with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
