Jaz Dalrymple

Jaz Dalrymple serves as the Head of Coaching and Coach Development at Portobello Behavioural Health, bringing a wealth of experience as a certified recovery specialist and coach. Since 2015, he has been dedicated to working with a diverse clientele, guiding them through their unique paths to recovery.

Jaz's approach revolves around assisting clients in finding purpose and meaning, reigniting their passions, and helping them achieve and maintain their ideal state of well-being. He recognises that coaching support must be tailored and flexible, and as such, he collaboratively develops dynamic coaching plans with each individual he works with.

Drawing from his background as a musician and writer, Jaz understands the importance of collaboration and creativity in the process of self-discovery and growth. These values serve as essential tools to empower his clients in problem-solving and decision-making. He combines this approach with qualities of compassion, understanding, and a non-judgmental attitude.

Jaz has actively engaged with various therapeutic and community-based resources to enrich his own recovery and overall life. This journey led him to discover the field of coaching. Recognising the potential of coaching in providing identification, social support, and practical guidance, he decided to pursue it as a career. He has achieved certification as a Recovery Specialist from Arise in California. He is also involved in supporting and supervising other coaches.
