The last visit mr Rawal was very helpful and concerned and explained everything to me and I trust him completely

This will be the second knee replacement Mr Rawal is doing for me, and i can honestly say i would highly recommend him. He is friendly, approachable, and patiently answers questions, however trivial they may sound. I have every faith in him and think he's a fantastic surgeon.

Mr Rawal greeted my husband and I in a relaxed and warm manner that quickly dispelled my anxiety. He explained clearly my present physical condition verbally and using my x-ray and a model, in terms we understood. Afterwards, we discussed my options and we came to a decision about future treatment and follow up appointments.

From the initial consultation to my stay on 31st July and including my appointment on Monday 28th September everything was excellent. I followed all the instructions given regarding after op and exercises and have progressed very well. Highly recommended, both Mr Rawal and the Spire Lea Hospital.

I have always found my visits to Spire Cambridge very pleasant and professional. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. Mr Rawal explains everything plainly and simple to understand, he is always willing to seek and answer any questions that I may have. On my last visit I did have one observation - I am visually impaired and carry a symbol cane for others to see and be aware of. When I went for my x-ray the person obviously did not know what this was, I had to explain that I could not see in the dark room that we were in ( this was not a problem) he gave me various instructions during the procedure but I had to ask him each time to show and explain more clearly as I could not see. As I left he handed me my symbol cane with the words "here is your special stick" ....not quite the professionalism that I have come to expect!! BUT being the person that I am I had a little giggle and realise that he may need some education - along with may members of our public who do not know what the symbol cane is all about!!

Dr Rawal is very professional while having an open and warm attitude. He has provided clear and understandable information each time I met him, and has always taken time to answer all my questions. This has helped me to feel I was in safe hands. While I was at the hospital, he visited me to make sure everything was fine. The surgery and recovery went really well and I feel like having been given a new lease of life. In the last appointment with him, he mentioned contacting him if I had any concern about my hip replacement. I feel very grateful for the quality of the service Dr Rawal delivered and highly recommend him.

Mr Rawal was always professional, friendly and helpful. I had full confidence in him. He did both of my hip replacements and I specifically asked for him for my second hip. I would not hesitate in highly recommending him.
