I bit the bullet and went to the dentist after several years of not going. As a nervous patient, I had been putting this off for some time. However, Izzy and Paula have been amazing and so calm. Thank you both for sorting me out and for being so patient and kind! :)

After many years of ignoring my dental issues as a nervous patient, I first visited Dr Ismail ‘Izzy’ Ayub at dentalessence in Worthing around four years ago. From the start, Izzy’s accepting attitude reassured me despite my embarrassment of years of my own dental neglect as he offered me progressive (and affordable) paths of returning me to dental health. Despite my continuing apprehension of the dentist’s chair, once I am in Izzy’s practice room I feel reassured that he will solve painlessly whatever issue might arise. I recently attended to have a tricky filling he originally inserted in the early days by an onlay which will give much more long-lasting benefits. He went out of his way, as well, to deliver the treatment in advance of holiday plans I had in order that I was not further worried about going away with what could have been painful dental issues. I would like to thank Izzy and the nurses and front of house staff at dentalessence who all contribute to a welcoming, reassuring and problem-solving environment.
