Heidi Blunden

Heidi Blunden is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who joined Deanbrook in 2021. Originally obtaining her nursing qualification from South Africa, she later relocated to the UK to gain further experience. She began her career in the trauma department at St Mary’s Paddington and has accumulated over 20 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. Heidi made the move from Johannesburg to London in 1996 and has since become a respected figure in the field.

In addition to her role at Deanbrook, Heidi is actively involved in academia. She serves as a lecturer and examiner at the University of Winchester, contributing to the education and training of future healthcare professionals. Outside of academia, Heidi continues to practise as a lead practitioner in the emergency department at North Hampshire hospital, with a dedication to patient care.
