Dr Hannah Lord

Dr Hannah Lord is a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who serves as a Clinical Lead within cancer care services. She specialises in the non-surgical management of cancer, providing comprehensive and supportive care to patients navigating complex oncological diagnoses. Working within multidisciplinary teams, Dr Lord oversees personal treatment planning to ensure each individual receives evidence-based care tailored to their specific needs.

Dr Lord possesses specialist clinical interests in neuro-oncology, with expertise in the management of primary brain tumours, including high-grade gliomas such as glioblastoma multiforme. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad range of non-surgical cancer therapies, including advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted systemic treatments. She is also actively involved in acute oncology services, contributing to treatment pathways designed to improve patient safety, access, and outcomes.

Dr Lord completed her undergraduate medical degree, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) along with a Bachelor of Science (BSc). Demonstrating a continuous commitment to clinical excellence and advanced training, she achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and gained Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR).
