About Ms Georgia Mancroft

Georgia Mancroft is a psychotherapist who sees patients at Schoen Clinic Chelsea. She offers in-person and online psychotherapy for individuals aged 11 and above, providing a safe and compassionate space for teenagers, young adults and adults to explore emotional challenges, mental health concerns and relational patterns. Her approach is trauma-informed and tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.

Georgia has eight years of experience across private and charitable mental health services. She works with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), self-harm, trauma, eating disorders, identity issues and relationship difficulties. She has specialist expertise in working with eating disorders and has supported individuals affected by anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID and OSFED. She also has considerable experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, with a focus on relational and person-centred recovery.

As an integrative psychotherapist, Georgia draws on psychodynamic, humanistic and cognitive behavioural approaches, including CBT-E, to ensure therapy is both evidence-based and responsive to the individual. She believes that the therapeutic relationship itself can offer a powerful opportunity for healing and change, particularly for those whose early relational experiences continue to shape their emotional world. She is especially interested in supporting women’s mental health and wellbeing, and is currently completing a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy with research focused on women's experiences of pleasure.

Georgia welcomes both self-funding and privately insured patients to her practice at Schoen Clinic Chelsea, where she is available for appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
