Dr. Gabrielle Oliveira

Dr. Gabrielle Cordeiro de Oliveira has recently joined the primary care team at Oval Medical Centre. Originally from Brazil, Dr. Gabrielle graduated as a doctor from Universidade Regional de Blumenau (FURB) in 2013. She accrued significant experience in primary care as a General Physician in Brazil before pursuing further specialisation.

In 2016, Dr. Gabrielle completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical Teaching at the Sirio-Libanes Teaching and Research Institute in São Paulo, Brazil, expanding her expertise in medical education. Upon relocating to the UK, she obtained full registration from the GMC (General Medical Council). She also became certified as an Advanced Life Support Provider (ALS) by the Resuscitation Council UK at Croydon University Hospital. Committed to continuous professional development, she undertook courses in Systematic Training in Acute Illness Recognition and Treatment, specialised end-of-life care, acute medicine, and pain management.

Joining Oval Medical Centre, Dr. Gabrielle brings her dedication to primary care, focusing on illness prevention, timely diagnosis, management of chronic conditions, and guiding patients through treatment pathways. She values the opportunity for meaningful patient interactions that primary care offers and is particularly pleased to offer consultations in Portuguese, ensuring that non-native English speakers receive comprehensive and accessible healthcare.
