Dr. Fouad Chaudhry

Dr. Fouad Chaudhry is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in lower limb arthroplasty and trauma surgery. With extensive expertise in managing joint degeneration and complex musculoskeletal conditions, he delivers patient-centred care aimed at restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving quality of life. His clinical practice encompasses a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, with particular focus on modern reconstructive procedures for the hip and knee.

Dr. Chaudhry earned his primary medical qualification, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from King Edward Medical College. He completed higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics, alongside earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Sciences (Trauma and Orthopaedics) from the University of Warwick and a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. He qualified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma and Orthopaedics, FRCSEd (Tr & Orth), in 2017, and holds Fellowship of the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. To further advance his skills, he completed specialist fellowship training dedicated to primary and revision hip and knee joint replacement. He maintains active professional memberships with the British Orthopaedic Association, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Orthopaedic Trauma Society, the British Medical Association, and the General Medical Council.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Chaudhry incorporates advanced surgical techniques, including computer-assisted navigation, to ensure precise implant positioning and optimal surgical outcomes. In addition to primary total hip and total knee replacements, his expertise includes revision joint surgery, fracture management, and hand and foot procedures. Alongside his clinical duties, he is actively committed to medical education as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer, regularly training future surgeons and contributing to clinical orthopaedic research.
