Dr. Fiona Vij

Dr Fiona Vij has been a doctor since 2005 and an Emergency Medicine (A&E) Consultant since 2013, with almost two decades of experience treating both adults and children across a wide range of acute, chronic, and emergency conditions. She completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Birmingham in 2005 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in 2013. In 2023, she further expanded her expertise by completing a Level 7 Masters Diploma in Integrative Medicine at the UK National Centre of Integrative Medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr Vij has worked in multiple NHS hospitals, including major trauma and paediatric specialist centres, developing broad expertise in emergency presentations of complex medical conditions. In her NHS practice, she frequently encounters patients who feel frustrated by the limitations of conventional medicine alone, which has shaped her interest in more proactive, personalised, and whole-person approaches to health.

As an Integrative Medicine physician, Dr Vij now combines her extensive background in Emergency Medicine with evidence-based complementary and lifestyle therapies to support patients in improving their health, resilience, and overall wellbeing. She is currently undertaking additional training in Functional Medicine and works closely with multidisciplinary teams specialising in women’s health, integrative oncology, integrative pain care, and allied healthcare services.
