Dr. Emma Hoskison

Dr Emma Hoskison is a Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon specialising in both adult and paediatric otolaryngology at Midlands Ultrasound and Medical Services (MUMS). Dr Hoskison qualified in medicine at the University of Cambridge in 2004 and entered the Specialist Register in 2017. She is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and holds a MPhil in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery from the University of Nottingham.

In her current position at MUMS, Dr Hoskison sees both adults and children with ear, nose and throat conditions, including: facial discomfort, nasal & ear blockage, voice disorders, snoring & obstructive sleep apnoea, sinusitis, allergies, hearing loss, tongue tie and several other ENT conditions. She is highly experienced in her field and is well known and respected by patients and colleagues alike.

She offers consultations at MUMS as well as ear syringing (microsuction) and tongue tie surgery.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Hoskison is a passionate academic and is actively involved in ENT research. She has research interests in developing in vivo models to test novel treatments for Otitis Media with Effusion (glue ear). She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work at international conferences, a testament to her academic acumen and clinical excellence.
