Ms Emily Piper

Ms Emily Piper is a dedicated podiatrist and sport and exercise scientist currently practicing at The Exeter Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham, followed by a Master of Science degree in Podiatry from the University of Plymouth. By integrating her comprehensive knowledge of human movement with clinical expertise, Emily specialises in biomechanics and sports rehabilitation. Her approach focuses on personalised treatment plans that support patients’ recovery, enhance mobility, and prevent future injuries.

Emily’s background as an international athlete and coach in dragon boating, where she has medalled at both European and World Championship levels, gives her a unique insight into the physical demands and challenges faced by active individuals. This experience allows her to develop effective, targeted treatment strategies for sports-related injuries and performance optimisation.

Outside her clinical work, Emily embraces an active lifestyle. She regularly takes part in Park Runs and half marathons, enjoys white-water kayaking, and has successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro. Her combined passion for sport and healthcare drives her commitment to helping patients regain comfort, confidence, and the ability to engage fully in the activities they love.
