I started working with Elle with the goal of getting my regular period back and recovering from low energy availability. I knew I was burning the candle at both ends, but I lacked the compassion for myself and the knowledge to find a healthy balance. From our very first consultation, Elle welcomed me with open ears, a calming presence, and a completely non-judgemental approach. I felt at ease immediately. Not only has Elle taught me how to fuel my training properly, but she has also shown me that recovery is about so much more than food. She delivers a professional yet highly personable, holistic approach to her work, looking at every aspect of your daily life. No stone is left unturned. Together, we explored the root causes and dug deep into the “why” behind certain behaviours and habits. Since working with Elle, I have regained my period and have now had four successful cycles. More importantly, I’ve developed a genuine respect for my body. My sleep has improved, I recover better, my mood has lifted, and my anxiety is much more manageable. I’ve also learned healthier ways to cope with stress. Where I would once have defaulted to restricting food or doing an intense workout, I now give myself permission to pause, reflect, and respond with compassion. I’ve also noticed significant improvements in my physical health. I’m getting sick less often, the dizzy spells have disappeared, I have more energy, and I’m no longer constantly cold. Another thing I’m incredibly grateful for is the support Elle gave me while I was going through my ADHD diagnosis. She helped me navigate f...

Working alongside Elle is such an important part of my recovery from an eating disorder, HA, and REDs. Elle is kind, compassionate, collaborative, patient, encouraging, and meets you exactly where you're at. Elle understands how comprehensive recovery can be and holds space for all aspects of it, physically and emotionally. I feel consistently listened to and supported, and have taken life-changing steps in fuelling and rebuilding my relationship and love for sport, as well as prioritising my health. I would highly recommend Elle to anyone navigating ED recovery. Elle is an absolute inspiration to everyone she works with, radiating hope and belief in every interaction. I have been working with Elle for the last 6 months following a battle with a disordered relationship with food and exercise; which resulted in Hypothalamic Amenorrhea. Elle has transformed my life in more ways than I could have imagined. She is always empathetic, kind, caring, and she just 'gets it'. At the same time, she knows when and how to challenge, without making things feel overwhelming or unachievable. Every step has been at a pace that suited me, and I’ve always felt supported, listened to, and understood. I can't recommend working with Elle enough. As a person, she is incredible. As a professional, she is so knowledgeable, supportive, and empowering. She has given me the confidence to rebuild a healthy relationship with food, exercise, and my body (from scratch). I will always be grateful for the impact she has had on my life.

If I could give more than 5 stars then I would! Elle’s approach was absolutely faultless. Not only does she have a wealth of knowledge and experience, she has the empathy to deal with any sensitive issues and make sure you feel heard and supported at all times. Don’t think twice!

Elle Kelly | SPORTS & DISORDERED EATING DIETITIAN | BSc, MSc on Instagram: "Let’s make THIS the summer YOU get YOUR PERIOD BACK❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

And I promise it will be the start of years of freedom around food and the last of the summers you dread✨

because GIRL who spent her life trying to shrink herself TO GIRL debating doing the same…

It’s not worth it🥺

We know that delaying period recovery just prolongs the health consequences of it, and not to mention sends you deeper into a bad relationship with food, your body, and exercise

There will NEVER be a RIGHT time to do this work and I promise you that the only regret my clients ever have is NOT doing this work SOONER

And that’s also why I’m so passionate about the work that I do- I don’t want you wasting any more of your life like I did caught up in the grips of a disordered relationship with food which only takes away from your life🥺💘

💛You can grieve all the memories you’ve missed out on, OR you can vow to change that so you don’t miss out on any more - and trust me, future you is going to thank you so much for doing that

But let’s talk about the elephant in the room here though… 🐘
So many people put off HA recovery until after the summer - there are probably already so many situations pushing you outside of your comfort zone and that fear of your body changing if you focus on recovery feels wrong when everyone is talking about doing the opposite

Which is why the Refuel & Revive group programme is now open to join at any point throughout the summer so you can have a group of women on the same journey as you

❤️🔥so if you’re in for a healed, healthy & happy girl summer, and you need a safe space and support from women on the exact same journey as you to help keep you focussed on your path this summer, Refuel & Revive applications are OPEN

🧚🏻 head to the link in bio to secure your spot

👀P.S. Make sure you’re on my email list to get all the tips throughout the series 💌

Elle Kelly | SPORTS & DISORDERED EATING DIETITIAN | BSc, MSc on Instagram: "Your summer nights reminder that empty tummies often lead to empty personalities🙃

and that the energy you bring to the table [literally] relies on you being present

👆🏻which requires you to ✨eat enough✨ so you’re not thinking about food the whole time [because that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re “just a foodie” 👀,it probably means you’re underfuelled]

And naturally, the more you try to control food or your body, the more you’re going to think about it 🧠

🥺Which takes you away from moments that actually matter

And I would like to think that the people in your life aren’t hanging out with you based on how you look and don’t care about what you look like when you show up - they just want you to show up 💕

I can remember sitting at a table with family and wanting to laugh but not being able to find the energy to do it, multiple moments of not being able to listen to conversations let alone be involved in them because of the mental gymnastics of figuring out how to get out of dessert, and so many nights I cancelled on because I spiralled so much about how I didn’t like what I was seeing in the mirror [👗 including my own debs, or prom to the non-irish souls]

Although I have a much better relationship with my body now, I still have bad body image moments ON THE REGULAR but the difference is that they don’t stop me doing what I want to do

and funnily enough, I often think the cure to them is to be around the people that love you and focus on the things that are important in your life 😌 🌍💛

📌 Save this for when you next need a pep talk, and I PROMISE you that it won’t be like this forever if you keep basing your decisions on how you WANT to feel rather than how you currently do

And focus on all the moments of connection this weekend. I promise no one notices what you’re obsessing over, but they will notice if you’re in your head🫶🏻

Elle Kelly | SPORTS & DISORDERED EATING DIETITIAN | BSc, MSc on Instagram: "I’ve no doubt that alcohol impacted my sleep, mood, recovery, energy - and ultimately my productivity last week

But I heard about this thing called ✨life✨ and it’s kind of worth living in my humble opinion - and I knew what to expect after a week of celebrations going into it

🔮 and on the other side of that, sometimes life is unpredictable and you have to be able to accept less than “optimal” circumstances when you’re doing your best at navigating them

This isn’t pro or anti, or even about alcohol; I do agree there is a “domino” effect from it for me personally, and I’m sure if my weeks regularly looked like this, it would be hard to work towards the goals that I have

🥺But it’s this constant pressure on everything being ✨optimal✨ that makes me question the point sometimes …
👀like what’s the point in having great sleep and recovery most of the time, if you can’t use that as resilience for other times in life?

😌And as a girl who is trying to recover from “always having to be productive” and often gets into paralysed states wasting hours of the day figuring out what the most “optimal order” to do things would be [rather than just doing something???], I’m slowly learning that when you create time and acceptance for the less “optimal” and “productive” spaces, life ironically flows a bit easier 🩷

So just a reminder to enjoy the life you’re trying to optimise- and sometimes it’s better to focus on the memories and not the sleep score🥲
