Dr Efrossini Carras

Dr. Efrossini Carras is an accomplished consultant dermatologist based at DermConsult. She specialises in general dermatology, paediatric dermatology, skin cancer, and dermatological surgery. She has a keen interest in psoriasis and inflammatory skin conditions and treats patients suffering from a range of issues, including psoriasis, eczema, acne, and skin cancer. Dr. Carras also performs mole checks and dermoscopy.

Additionally, she is based at the NHS Whittington Hospital, where she leads the biologics service for patients with severe diagnoses of psoriasis.

After completing her undergraduate medical degree at the University College of London, Dr. Carras pursued post-graduate studies before embarking on her career as a consultant dermatologist in the UK. She is a highly accomplished doctor who is registered with the Royal College of Physicians and the General Medical Council.

She also has a keen interest in medical education and holds a post-graduate qualification in healthcare and biomedical education from St. George's University of London. She teaches undergraduates, nurses, doctors in post-graduate training as well as GPs in the field of Dermatology. In addition to her other work, she is also active in research including clinical trials; working to find the latest treatments to ensure optimal treatment for per patients.

Dr. Carras is fluent in both English and Greek.
