First consultation I nearly cried because he has been the only person who has really listened and understood my problems. It felt like I was actually going to be helped snd he explained everything and what investigations they would do. I came out of that appointment with some hope. At the colonoscopy he was kind, reassuring and explained everything so well I felt in safe hands

Dr Mayhead listened to my explanation of my symptoms, read tabled reports of previous investigations and then engaged with me on an equal level to describe and discuss next stages. Very impressed and happy with my consultation and follow up completed actions. If necessary, I will draw upon his skills again.

Dr Mayhead took the time to listen to my concerns and put me forward for the relevant scans to check the areas I was worried about. The findings of the scans were explained thoroughly and the service was very efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend to a friend.
