About Dr Paramit Chowdhury
Dr Paramit Chowdhury is a Consultant Nephrologist at Guy's Hospital.
He graduated from King's College School of Medicine in 1992, before receiving high quality specialist training at a number of hospitals across London and the South East of England, including King's College, Guy's Kent and Canterbury Hospitals. In 2007 he completed his training and became a consultant at Guy's Hospital. He leads a number of crucial kidney services across south London and is clinical lead for renal biopsy at the trust. In addition to his NHS practice, Dr Chowdhury sees patients privately at the well-equipped London Bridge Hospital.
As well as his broad and successful clinical practice, Dr Chowdhury is an active research scientist, particularly in the area of biomarkers for renal transplantation. He was awarded a PhD from the University of London in 2008.
