Dr Nida Chammas is a highly-regarded Consultant Physician specialising in the management of endocrine disorders and acute and general medicine. She has gained her extensive experience in well known hospitals such as Hammersmith, UCLH and King's College Hospital. Additionally, she underwent additional training in the field of reproductive endocrinology at UCLH.
Dr Chammas has a strong research background, including an MSc in Endocrinology
and Diabetes at King’s; also at King’s, valuable research in the
Diabetic Foot Clinic, with results presented internationally. Dr Chammas undertook further research into the management of the diabetic foot, having successfully applied for NIHR CLAHRC funding, with colleagues and collaborators. She is a NIHR external reviewer. A former Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer for Imperial College, teaching undergraduates. Dr Chammas is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and a past member of the RCP question writing group.
