About Dr Nida Chammas
Dr Nida Chammas is a highly-regarded Consultant Physician specialising in the management of endocrine disorders and acute and general medicine. She has gained her extensive experience in well known hospitals such as Hammersmith, UCLH and King's College Hospital. Additionally, she underwent additional training in the field of reproductive endocrinology at UCLH.
Dr Chammas has a strong research background, including an MSc in Endocrinology
and Diabetes at King’s; also at King’s, valuable research in the
Diabetic Foot Clinic, with results presented internationally. Dr Chammas undertook further research into the management of the diabetic foot, having successfully applied for NIHR CLAHRC funding, with colleagues and collaborators. She is a NIHR external reviewer. A former Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer for Imperial College, teaching undergraduates. Dr Chammas is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and a past member of the RCP question writing group.

Dr. Chammas is very professional and very detailed with her examinations which is very helpful. Very approachable and kind. I trust her so much with my health issues.
Poor bedside manner, jumped around with no clear goals, offensive and did not try to understand the problem. Also recommended tests that are expensive and unnecessary. Gave a script for a medication without discussing different options for dosage / different form factors of the medication and didn't even try to have baseline levels re-checked before prescribing. Overall, a horrible experience.
Dr Chammas is the most incredible doctor with a wonderful bedside manner and has greatly changed my life. My type 2 diabetes is in remission, high blood pressure has resumed to normal range and my insulin resistance has reduced as a result of my carefully curated GLP-1 medication plan. Dr Chammas monitors my progress every two to three months and always keeps my medical plan conservative. I have needed numerous recommendations for other medical issues and Dr Chammas always goes out of her way to make sure I'm in the right hands. Thank you Dr Chammas for your exceptional care!!
