Dr Mark Spring

Dr Mark Spring is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist currently at the NHS base, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, including Kingston Hospital, Queen Mary's Hospital and Molesey Hospital in South West London. His clinical interests are thyroid disorders, all forms of diabetes, calcium and vitamin D disorders, hypertension and chronic fatigue. Additionally, he is experienced in the field of obstetrics and sees patients with pregnancy medical problems and androgen disorders.

Dr Spring attained his qualifications at St Georges Hospital Medical School, University of London and King's College London. He qualified at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical Schools in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2003. He has many years of experience within his field having worked in his post at Kingston Hospital since 1999.

Dr Spring's personal interests include thyroid treatment and calcium and vitamin disorders. He is also bilingual, fluent or conversational in French, Spanish, Catalan and Russian. Additionally, he has publications in the medical journals Lancet and BMJ. He also offers courses to GPs with prior arrangement.
