Dr Haider Raza is the Principal Dental Surgeon at Thurloe Street Dental and Implant Centre. He has extensive training in multiple areas of dentistry and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care by continually updating his knowledge and skills through advanced postgraduate education.

Dr Raza has completed postgraduate courses in Restorative Dentistry, Occlusal Studies and Dental Implants. His professional focus is centred on providing comprehensive dental treatment using modern techniques and evidence-based approaches. He practises across all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in restorative dentistry and occlusion.

A significant part of Dr Raza’s work involves diagnosing and treating bite and occlusal problems. He has treated many patients experiencing issues related to abnormal bite function and works to raise awareness of how occlusion can affect oral health, comfort and long-term dental stability. His expertise also extends to the management of bruxism and related jaw conditions.

Dr Raza has a strong interest in treating patients with dental anxiety and is a certified dental phobia practitioner. He takes a compassionate and patient-centred approach, ensuring that nervous patients feel comfortable and supported during treatment. To help achieve painless dentistry, he offers both intravenous and oral sedation, aiming to make sedation-based dental care safe and accessible.

In addition to restorative and functional dentistry, Dr Raza also provides aesthetic treatments including Smile Design, helping patients improve both the function and appearance of their smile. He also offers treatments such as Botox injections for the masseter and temporalis muscles, which can be used to manage jaw tension and bruxism.
