Dr Deepak Goyal

Dr Deepak Goyal is Consultant Interventional Cardiologist working at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Dr Goyal completed his initial training at the Banaras Hindu University and has over 20 years experience in cardiology. After coming to the UK he then completed training in interventional cardiology and worked as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and University Hospital of North Staffordshire before joining at Worcestershire Royal Hospital as Interventional Cardologist.

Dr Goyal is competent in a wide variety of diagnostic cardiology procedure and complex percutaneous interventional techniques including the use of adjunctive devices like intravascular ultrasound, pressure wire evaluation, aspiration thrombectomy, laser thrombectomy, rotational atherectomy and distal embolic protection devices. He is fully trained in transthoracic echocardiography and treatment of general cardiology diseases
