Always feel comfortable seeing him and very professional

During my first visit, I felt uncomfortable with some of the comments made. A remark was made suggesting I had “gone posh” because of where I now live, which felt inappropriate and unrelated to my care. I was also advised to book a scan “at my own convenience” with enough time to “get a wax,” which did not feel professional or relevant to the medical appointment. At my second visit, I was informed that my blood results showed no signs of menopause, although a low thyroid result may mean I need medication next year. However, I did not receive a clear explanation as to what may currently be causing my symptoms. Remains of a virus I suffered from late year or it was suggested that eating processed or ready-made food could be responsible for my aching joints and muscles. This felt like an assumption rather than a discussion based on my individual circumstances, and I left without a proper understanding of what might be happening or what steps I should take next.

Dr Eccleston is an expert in his field. I have been using him for years to treat my migraines using Botox. I even travel from Bath now to see him. He takes time to understand any developments and changes to determine whether any aspects of the treatment need adjustment to ensure we achieve the best results.

I highly value being treated as an individual. David’s knowledge and experience engender a very high degree of trust and credibility in the diagnoses and treatment offered.
