Dr Chetan Varma

Dr Chetan Varma is a Consultant Cardiologist. Dr Varma qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, University of London. They were awarded several undergraduate prizes. They then underwent training at the major London teaching hospitals of Royal Brompton, Hammersmith, St Thomas', St George', Great Ormond Street and the Royal Free. Dr Varma was awarded a one-year fellowship at Toronto General Hospital (Canada) as well as a British Heart Foundation Fellowship.

Dr Varma has extensive experience of managing those with hypertension and high cholesterol as well as those with a pre-existing diagnosis of established coronary artery disease, angina, heart valve disease or heart failure. They are an expert in evaluating symptoms of chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations and dizziness and has performed thousands of coronary interventions and has nationally recognised excellent outcomes for this.

Dr Varma's research has been published extensively in international journals and presented widely.
