He gained his BDS from Bristol University in 1997 where he won prizes for the British Society of Restorative Dentistry and his Elective Project. During this time, he was also elected President of the Student Society.

Following this, Dr Bain undertook his vocational training in Croydon. He is dedicated to his continued professional development and gained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties with the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012.

Outside of the dental practice, he freelances as a professional singer, and he has sung in musicals, concerts, and operas across the world.
