About Dr Amin Gorgy
Dr Amin Gorgy is a highly experienced fertility consultant and co-director at The Fertility & Gynaecology Academy. He is widely known for his empathetic, non-judgemental and compassionate approach, consistently forming close and meaningful relationships with his patients and supporting them through every stage of their fertility journey.
Earlier in his career, Dr Gorgy served as Clinical Director of the London Fertility and Gynaecology Centre, where he was responsible for developing all of the unit’s clinical protocols. During this time, he played a key role in advancing fertility treatments, contributing to the development and refinement of techniques such as microsurgical sperm retrieval (PESA and TESA), assisted hatching and blastocyst transfer.
From 2000 to 2005, Dr Gorgy worked at the Assisted Reproduction and Gynaecology Centre (ARGC) as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Deputy Director. His work there supported the centre’s excellent clinical outcomes and helped introduce important innovations including pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and reproductive immunology. He also worked closely with the late Dr Alan Beer, treating patients with complex reproductive immunology conditions in the UK. Dr Gorgy’s expertise in this field is recognised in Dr Beer’s book Is Your Body Baby-Friendly?, in which he is named as an associate of the Beer Institute.
In addition to his work in the UK, Dr Gorgy established a highly successful assisted conception unit at Alsalam Hospital in Cairo, one of the city’s most prestigious hospitals. He remains actively involved with this unit and continues to visit regularly.

We had our full immune treatment with Dr Gorgy, along with egg collection, embryo creation, pgta and embryo transfer which was successful and gave us our beautiful baby girl.
