Dr Alisdair Ryding

Dr Alisdair Ryding is a highly respected Consultant Cardiologist with a robust clinical and academic background, having served as a consultant in Norwich since 2009. He studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh before completing specialised cardiology training in Oxford and an interventional fellowship in Sydney, Australia.

In his practice, Dr Ryding provides comprehensive and expert care for a wide spectrum of adult cardiovascular conditions. He specialises in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and regularly treats patients presenting with angina, heart attacks, arrhythmia, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. Beyond the clinic, he is deeply committed to advancing cardiovascular medicine as the Clinical Lead for Cardiology Research at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH). A recognised authority in his field, he holds a PhD in molecular biology and has authored a widely used textbook on echocardiography that serves cardiology trainees worldwide.
