Dr Adrian Brodison

Dr Adrian Brodison is a Consultant Cardiologist, specialising in general and interventional cardiac care, with subspecialty expertise in heart failure, complex cardiac devices, and cardiac imaging. He graduated in medicine from the University of Manchester in 1990 and completed his higher specialist training in cardiology across the North West regional rotation. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP London) in 2011.

Bringing over two decades of consultant-level clinical experience to his practice, Dr Brodison has been the Lead Cardiologist for University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust for over a decade, where he has practiced since 2000. He also sees private patients through Circle Health Group (BMI Healthcare).

Dr Brodison possesses deep clinical expertise in complex device therapy, routinely performing permanent pacemaker implantations, biventricular pacemakers (cardiac resynchronisation therapy), and implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs). His diagnostic practice spans non-invasive and invasive imaging, including transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography, stress testing, and coronary angiography. Heavily invested in medical education, Dr Brodison actively trains all grades of junior doctors and supervises medical students from Lancaster University.
