Mr Dom Walsh

Dom Walsh is a fully qualified and licensed Acupuncturist who is passionate about how acupuncture can help improve your everyday wellbeing. In his practice, Dom believes it is important to build a picture of you as a person, rather than just a set of symptoms. He uses a holistic approach to treatment, listening to patients and getting to know them before beginning treatment. Patient treatment is supplemented with self-help advice covering lifestyle, diet, and movement to support improvement between treatments.

Dom has experience of treating a wide range of conditions, including headache & migraine, chronic pain, joint & muscle pain, stress & anxiety, insomnia, menopause symptoms, and fertility. In conjunction with acupuncture, Dom uses the following therapies where appropriate in his treatments:

• Cupping
• Gua Sha
• Moxibustion
• Auricular acupuncture (including the NADA protocol)

Dom runs Flourish Acupuncture, a friendly and professional clinic based in Banstead, Surrey. The clinic is a safe and calm environment where you can relax and begin your healing journey.

Dom qualified from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) with a Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture (First-Class Honours degree equivalent). He has a comprehensive understanding from a medical perspective of how the human body works, due to his early academic training in pharmacology, physiology, and biochemistry. Dom is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAaC) and regulated by the Professional Standards Authority. He is committed to ongoing personal development, and regularly attends further training to widen his clinical skills.
