Dr Deepali Abhay Vaidya

Dr Deepali Vaidya is a Consultant Oncologist specialising in the treatment of Head & Neck Cancers, Skin Cancer and Anal Cancer. She is based in Milton Keynes and currently sees patients at GenesisCare Milton Keynes. She also has a substantive post as a Clinical Oncologist at Northampton General Hospital.

Dr Vaidya completed her medical degree at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, India in 1997. She began her training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai University in India before moving to the UK. After moving she began training at centres across Northampton, Bedford, Oxford and King's Lynn. She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians, a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and holds a Diploma in Medical Radiation Therapy.

Dr Vaidya is highly proficient in a range of advanced radiotherapy techniques used to minimise side effects, including image-guided radiotherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy, stereotactic ablative radiotherapy, surface guided radiotherapy and external beam radiotherapy. She also has expertise in chemotherapy, biological therapy, immunotherapy and hormone therapy. Her expertise allows her to choose the best targeted approach using evidence-based molecular and genetic tumour markers.

Alongside her clinical work, Dr Vaidya is actively involved in research and clinical trials to improve clinical outcomes for her patients.
