David Duffy

David Duffy is a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist currently practising at Seventeen Physiotherapy Clinic. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019 and is furthering his expertise through an MSc in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice at the University of Hertfordshire. David is also a certified Weightlifting and Shockwave Therapy Specialist, combining clinical skill with a strong foundation in exercise science and biomechanics.

David has extensive experience across both NHS and private sectors, managing a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Within the NHS, he works with GP-referred patients, as well as those recovering from orthopaedic, spinal, and hand surgery. In private practice, he supports high-level and competitive athletes through tailored pre-season, maintenance, and rehabilitation programmes aimed at enhancing performance and preventing injury.

His treatment approach integrates manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, and evidence-based strength and conditioning programmes. A dedicated CrossFit athlete himself, David applies his understanding of functional movement to help clients optimise performance and reduce injury risk.

Outside of work, David competes nationally in CrossFit, enjoys travelling, and is continually seeking new challenges that combine his passion for health, fitness, and personal growth.
