Dr Dariush Hoshyar

Dr Dariush Hoshyar is a Dental Surgeon and Implantologist with more than 35 years of clinical experience. After graduating from Umeå Dental School in Sweden in 1990, he developed an early interest in innovative approaches to dentistry and became a pioneer of amalgam-free dental care. He subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate training in Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Implantology, including an MSc in Implant Dentistry and advanced certifications from the Eastman Dental Institute, including an Advanced Certificate in Implant Surgery and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr Hoshyar’s approach to dentistry combines technical precision with an appreciation for dental aesthetics and craftsmanship. His passion for dental artistry and meticulous implantology is influenced by his previous experience as a goldsmith and his background as a pianist. He has particular expertise in metal-free restorative dentistry and offers biocompatible zirconium oxide implants and restorations for patients with metal sensitivities or concerns regarding material compatibility.

Having successfully placed thousands of dental implants throughout his career, Dr Hoshyar focuses on achieving predictable and natural results. His experience extends to complex cases requiring multidisciplinary planning and full-mouth reconstruction, where he combines implantology, restorative dentistry and aesthetic considerations to restore oral function and create natural-looking, durable outcomes.
