Dr. Daniel Akhtar

Dr Daniel Akhtar is a dedicated General Practitioner with a specialist focus on ADHD assessment and management. He graduated with an MBBS from Queen Mary University of London in 2014 and has since built a broad clinical foundation across primary care. In 2025, he became a fully registered GP, bringing together evidence-based medicine, careful clinical judgement, and a patient-centred approach to care.

Dr Akhtar currently works at Well Lift GP Clinic within the ADHD services, where he is known for his expertise in comprehensive ADHD assessments and the development of personalised treatment plans. He takes a holistic view of each patient, recognising that ADHD presents differently across individuals and across the lifespan. His assessments are thorough, clear, and tailored, ensuring patients feel listened to, understood, and actively involved in decisions about their care.

With a strong emphasis on collaboration, Dr Akhtar works closely with patients to design treatment plans that may include medication, lifestyle strategies, and ongoing support, always guided by the latest clinical evidence and best practice.
