Dr Craig Zalecki

Dr Craig Zalecki is a highly skilled consultant in sports, exercise, and musculoskeletal medicine, specialising in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, and tendons without surgery. With over a decade of experience, he provides expert care for patients ranging from professional athletes to individuals with general musculoskeletal concerns, tailoring treatment to support recovery and optimise performance.

A Yorkshire native, Dr Zalecki studied Human Biology at King’s College London before completing his medical degree at University College London. Following his qualification, he served as a doctor in the Royal Army Medical Corps and underwent General Practitioner training in the prestigious Oxford Deanery. Returning to Yorkshire, he completed specialist training in Sports and Exercise Medicine.

Dr Zalecki has worked extensively in elite sports, including roles as team doctor for GB Basketball Senior Women’s Team, GB Boxing at the English Institute of Sport, and Leeds Rhinos Academy. He now serves as a consultant for the Ministry of Defence, caring for military personnel at Catterick Garrison, and as a Senior Clinical Tutor at the University of Leeds.

Utilising advanced diagnostic tools like musculoskeletal ultrasound, Dr Zalecki delivers personalised, non-surgical treatments, including precision-guided therapies for injuries such as frozen shoulder and Achilles tendinopathy.
