Dr. Claire Horder

Dr. Claire Horder is a Private GP with a first-class degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Birmingham. She initially pursued a career in pharmaceutical sales, covering major London hospitals, but her passion for medicine and science led her to complete a graduate entry medical degree at the University of Warwick.

Dr. Horder spent her early years working at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham before completing her GP training in Worcestershire. This has fostered strong links to the local community, both in primary and secondary care.

The opportunity to provide continuity of care and a holistic management approach is what attracted Dr. Horder to Linbury Doctors, where she can uphold these values and deliver a high level of patient care. Her special interests include joint injections, women’s health and HRT, dermatology, and palliative care.

Outside of work, Dr. Horder is a self-confessed fitness fanatic. She is part of the competitors’ programme at her local gym, enjoys Olympic weightlifting, and competes at a local level in Crossfit competitions. More recently, she has taken part in Hyrox competitions, both solo and in mixed-sex and same-sex pairs events. To balance her intense fitness regimen, Dr. Horder also has a keen interest in yoga, particularly hot yoga and Yin yoga for a slower pace.
