Dr. Christophe Zwolan

Dr Christophe Zwolan is a Senior Counselling Psychologist and Psychedelic Integration Therapist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and Mental Health from Glasgow Caledonian University, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology from Edinburgh Napier University. He is accredited with the British Psychological Society and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Dr Zwolan is passionate about exploring the transformative potential of psychedelics within psychotherapy. His professional work is influenced by his deep interest in the transpersonal aspects of human experience, which he integrates into his therapeutic approach. Drawing on a range of evidence-based frameworks—including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred Therapy, mindfulness, and his own meditative practice—he supports clients in exploring their inner worlds and accessing insight through connection with the deeper dimensions of their being.

He has a particular interest in the qualitative aspects of psychedelic experiences, which he believes play a crucial role in the effectiveness of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Alongside his private practice, Dr Zwolan is actively involved in the Psychedelic Health Professionals Network, where he serves as Treasurer and Psychedelic Facilitator. He also contributes to the Scottish Psychedelic Research Group at the University of Edinburgh, conducting research into the therapeutic use of psychedelics.
