Dr Cheryl Lambe

Dr Cheryl Lambe is a well experienced Consultant Fertility Specialist at The Agora Clinic, bringing with her a wealth of experience and passion for women's health. She completed her medical degree at the Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine in 1996 and later became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr Lambe's commitment to research and patient care led her to work as a Gynae Research Fellow at King's College Hospital. In this role, she divided her time between sexual health and general gynaecology, and her research into antenatal HIV testing was published. She further honed her expertise by running The Haven unit, which specialised in supporting and assessing victims of sexual assault referred by the metropolitan police. Dr Lambe performed clinical forensic medical examinations and appeared in court as a professional witness when necessary, showcasing her compassion and dedication to her patients.

Dr Lambe has been a GP partner in Henfield since 2005. Throughout her career, she has maintained her keen interest in family planning, women's health, and fertility. Her passion for fertility led her to become a community Fertility Specialist in 2012. Under the mentorship of The Agora, she has studied advanced fertility practice and IVF since 2016, further enhancing her expertise in the field.

Dr Lambe's dedication to medical education is evident through her role as a teacher for medical students. She currently imparts her knowledge to Year 4 and 5 students from Brighton and Sussex Medical School and Year 6 students from Imperial and UCL. Additionally, she actively mentors sixth formers aspiring to study medicine and has conducted multiple mini interview courses, both in person and online, to guide and support future medical professionals.
