Dr Palmer is a Consultant Fertility Specialist working at the Agora clinics across Sussex. Her passions lie in providing excellent individualised care to all people wanting to explore their reproductive choices or overcome subfertility.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2010, Dr Palmer undertook speciality training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the Mersey deanery, working in various teaching hospitals including Liverpool Women’s hospital. In 2018 she achieved full membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She has a diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and is an active member of the British Fertility Society and European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology.
During training, Dr Palmer developed a specialist interest in Forensic Gynaecology and worked as a Forensic Medical Examiner for both SafePlace in Liverpool and St Marys Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Manchester. In this role she provided acute support and assessment of sexual assault victims for both men, women and children.
Dr Palmer has a keen interest in supporting clinical training and development of her colleagues completing a masters module in ‘Teaching and Learning in the Medical Workplace’. She has lectured on a Masters Clinical Embryology course and supported medical students as a clinical tutor for the University of Liverpool throughout her career.
Dr Palmer further developed her expertise in assisted conception with a two-year Clinical Fellowship at Care Fertility. Within this role she expanded her skills and experience in Quality management and Research and authored chapters for Fertility and Embryology textbooks.
